A Wind Advisory is posted for the summit of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa through 6 p.m. Saturday for west to northwest winds of 45 to 55 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.

Looking Ahead
A cold front is expected to push southward into the central islands Saturday and Saturday night. The front will dissipate on Sunday, with weak high pressure then becoming re-established over the islands through the middle of next week. Several fronts will pass just north of the islands next week, but Hawaii will remain mostly dry and under a light wind flow pattern.

Variable winds are expected today up to 15 mph. Partly cloudy skies are forecast with a slight chance of showers, mainly in the afternoon. High temperatures from 79° to 84°.
