Aloha Theater Hosts Kona Jazz Experience

Aloha Theater in Kainaliu will host the fifth annual Kona Jazz Experience, sponsored by Aloha Hills Kona Coffee Company, on Saturday, Jan. 9.

Partial proceeds for the yearly event go to the Aloha Performing Arts Company.

The headline act for the event is The Bill Noble Jazz Expericence, led by its namesake on alto saxophone, Andrea Lindborg on trumpet, Jesse Snyder on tenor saxophone, Vincent D’Angelo on trombone, Loren Wilken on piano, Brian Crist on bass guitar, and Michael Suprenaut on drums.

Opening up the show will be Bethany’s Trio, lead by lead vocalist and keyboard player Sarah Bethany and accompanied by Crist and Suprenaut on bass and drums, respectively. The group plays original music and covers from some of Bethany’s favorite artists. Wilken will join the group as a special guest on keyboards.
