Flood Advisory Issued Through 6 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for parts of the Big Island through 6 p.m. Sunday.
Just after 3 p.m. radar indicated heavy rain that is likely to cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Heavy rain was located over Kailua-Kona at rates of up to 2 inches per hour.
Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Kamuela, Honaunau, Honaunau-Napoopoo, Puuanahulu and Kalaoa are all included in the advisory.
