First Natural Farming Symposium Comes to Hilo
Local farmers are invited to the first ever Hawai’i Farmers Union United East Hawaii Chapter’s Korean Natural Farming Symposium.
The event will be held Oct. 1-3 in Hilo and will teach attendees about Korean Natural Farming Practices.
Korean Natural Farming is a compilation of organic practices that utilizes local, cheap, easy-to-obtain ingredients to enhance soil fertility. It is also used with piggeries and chickens to provide pens that are odor, fly and run-off free.
The symposium includes classes, experienced and expert panels, farm visits and networking.
Sweet Cane Cafe and HeartBeet Catering will cater the event.
Tickets are available through EventBrite and Sweet Cane Cafe.
