The Big Island Running Company is the first and only Hawai’i sports store that specializing in everything about running. All residents and Hawai’i visitors that love to tie on those sneakers should definitely check this place out!

Big Island Running Company now has three locations; Coconut Grove Marketplace in Kailua-Kona, their Headquarters at the Hale Kua Plaza in Kailua-Kona, and their newest  bay front location at the S. Hata Building in Hilo. The running experts at BI Running Co. can help you with anything you need to know about running in Hawai’i. From fitting you to the perfect pair of shoes to swapping stories about Big Island running trails and marathons, these guys do their very best to make you feel like a part of their running community. The folks at Big Island Running Company are also extremely involved in Hawai’i’s community. They offer free training groups, sponsor organized races, and are extremely involved in the Big Island’s local athletic community.

If you love to run, and you’re headed to the Big Island, definitely check out BI Running Company’s weekly group runs. Every week, runners can join in for the ‘Tuesday Trot,’ a 5k run or walk that starts at 5pm in Kailua-Kona. For more experienced runners, the BI Running Company community also meets in Kailua-Kona every Saturday morning at 6:30am for a longer run. Visitors are always welcome, and there is no charge to join in on any of BI Running Co. fun runs.
