KAPA Hawaiian FM morning personalities Jaz and Ka’ea welcomed Kumu Hula Paul Neves to the KAPA Cafe.

Kumu Hula Neves is a familiar and resonating voice to many on the Big Island as a cultural practitioner, giving a living example of how Native Hawaiians value and live with aloha, lokahi (unity), and alaka’i (leadership), especially within family, or ‘ohana, settings.

Neves was a student of Kumu Hula Wayne Kaho’onei Panoke. He has started three different halau since: Hālau Ha’a Kea o Akalā in 1998, Hālau Ha’a Kea o Kinohi in 2004, and Hālau Ha’a Kea o Mokihana in 2006.
