A new small northwest is expected to build Friday but not expected to get bigger than waist high. No significant swells on the horizon.

Models show a small easterly swell from former Blanca reaching us today. Swell is expected to build Thursday and hold through Friday up to about waist high.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
