HPD Searches for Missing Kona Teen

Kuuipo Taketa,16, of Kailua-Kona has been reported missing, according to the Hawai’i Police Department.
In a Wednesday release, HPD says the girl was last seen in Kona on January 19.
Taketa is described as 5-foot-2 and 115 pounds. She reportedly has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Taketa is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
