UH-Hilo’s Aubrey, Greene Earn All-Region Softball Honors

The awards continue to roll in for University of Hawai’i at Hilo seniors Emily Greene and Colleen Aubrey.

Both were named to the Daktronics, Inc. All-West Region Softball Second Team, as voted on by Sports Information Directors in the West Region.

The duo was earlier named to the All-PacWest First Team this month.

Aubrey led her team with a .425 batting average, hitting four home runs and driving in 26 runs.

Greene finished right behind Aubrey with a .380 batting average. She led the Vulcans with nine home runs, 38 runs batted in, and 10 stolen bases.

A total of 13 softball players received Daktronics All-West Region Softball. Dixie State’s Michelle Duncan was named Pitcher of the Year.
