On Sunday, May 10, ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center will present its first High Tea & Chat at 11:30 a.m. During the event, attendees will partake in tea, scones, and desserts that will be provided by Teaching Tea, tea sandwiches created by Moonstruck Patisserie, and decorated cookies designed by A Little Bit of Paris, all served on fine china.

At the event, JoAnn Aguirre will discuss the role that women and mothers have had on the history of tea during her presentation, titled “Mothers & Tea: Women’s Place in Tea History.”

Lorien Browlea will provide music with her violin and mandolin.

‘Imiloa’s High Tea & Chat is part of an on-going Tea Chat Series presented by Aguirre.
