Enjoy good food?  Passionate about fashion?  How about good causes?  The Shops at Mauna Lani will be hosting a fashion show and luncheon on Sunday, May 3 to benefit the non-profit Arc of Kona.

“A Taste of Spring Fashion” will happen from 12 – 2 p.m. at Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar.  The luncheon will feature a gourmet, three-course lunch with complimentary mimosa, accompanied by a designer fashion show with the latest looks from beachwear to clubbing.

The Shops’ apparel stores will be featured in the show, along with some of Hawai‘i’s title-holders strutting the stage like Miss Aloha Hawai‘i 2015, Jessica Lloyd.

Seating for the event is limited and tickets cost $50 in advance, and $60 at the door, available at Tommy Bahama and The Fine Hawaiian Gift Gallery.  For more information, call (808) 885-9501.

All proceeds will benefit The Arc of Kona, a non-profit organization assisting persons with disabilities.

“In big cities, I think the spring fashion show in the large department store is a tradition,” said Michael Oh, General Manager of The Shops at Mauna Lani. “But, instead of one large store, we have a whole family of fashionable shops here, and they love to share a wide variety of great looks for different styles and tastes. It’s a fun way to ‘shop’ sitting down.”
