Kona Harp Ensemble Presenting “Spring Peace Concerts”

The Kona Harp ensemble will be performing “Spring Peace Concerts” in Kona at the Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden and in Hilo at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center.  The Kona event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at 6 p.m., and in Hilo on Sunday, April 12 at 11 a.m.

The five-piece ensemble features three harpists, vocals, a synthesizer, flutes, and percussion.  The lineup of music will include compositions by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Pachebel, O‘Carollan, Jimmy Page, as well as Hawaiian and original compositions.

The Hawaiian Queen Coffee Garden is located at 75-1048 Henry Street in Kona.  Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at brownpapertickets.com or by calling (808) 329-3733.

‘Imiloa Astronomy Center is located at 600 ‘Imiloa Place in Hilo.  Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Call (808) 969-9703 or visit the ‘Imiloa’s front desk.
