Big Island Surf Forecast
Hilo side: Surf heights expected to be head high to slightly overhead with largest waves earlier in the day.
Kona side: Most locations can expect surf heights around ankle-thigh-waist height, with some places showing larger sets especially by evening.
South: Surf heights expected to be small but should pick up into the knee to waist high range by sundown.
Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
