The Association of Fundraising Professionals Aloha Chapter will hold a non-profit organization workshop in Waimea on Feb. 26 at the North Hawai’i Hospice from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Executive directors, development staff, board members, and fundraising volunteers who are interested in learning about starting or growing a major gifts program are encouraged to attend the one-day event that is titled, “Increasing Your Contributions Through a Major Gift Program.”

“We’re thrilled to be able to present a workshop that is affordable for our members and other interested fundraisers on Hawai’i island that will provide valuable information for community organization in that county,” Mike Moses, AFP Aloha Chapter board president said.

AFP’s event is tailored towards organizations that are interested in raising significantly more money but have not had the know-how to achieve it.
