The Hilo Public Library will hold a “Mask-Making Workshop” with Lee Michael Walczuk, a veteran of fine arts and theatrical training with more than 30 years of experience.

HPL will host the two-part event on two dates, Saturday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, March 7. On both days, the workshop will be held on the library’s lanai from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Attendees, who must be able to attend both portions of the workshop, will learn about the mask-making process, including research, demonstration, and the creation of paper-based masks.

Children of all ages are invited to attend the free workshop, which includes supplies. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
