Dozens of Hawaii and mainland equine experts will attend the 6th annual Hawaii Horse Expo this Saturday and Sunday in Waimea.

Clinics and demonstrations will be presented by experts in a variety of equine health and training fields, including horse behaviorist Dr. Robert Miller; host of RFD TV’s “The Horse Show” Rick Lamb; riding and training expert Richard Shrake; and National Cowboy and Cowgirl Hall of Fame barrel racer Sharon Camarillo.

The public is invited to attend the expo being held at the Paniolo Heritage Center at Waimea’s Pukalani Stables.

Sunday’s opening ceremony features the Puu Moi Riders and traditional blessing followed by presentation of the Mana Award to Edwin and Wallie Nobriga for their work with the Hawaii High School Rodeo Association.
