Tuesday at Target: Party in the Parking Lot

It’s a party in a parking lot. A National Night Out comes to Hilo’s Target store for a few hours of fun today.

Tap toes to live music, enjoy the free food, and get the keiki involved in playful activities.

From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., a lineup of local bands will perform. Have safe family-friendly fun in the company of the Big Island’s police department and first-responders.

The first National Night Out took place in 1984 and has grown to include over 15,000 communities in all 50 states. Its purpose is to cultivate and promote police and community partnerships and generate interest in crime prevention.
