Heavy rain showers in the middle of the afternoon forced the postponement of a pair of Big Island Interscholastic Federation baseball games in East Hawai`i.

Hilo was set to visit Kea`au in a key Division I contest. The Vikings narrowly edged the Cougars in their first meeting at Wong Stadium. It will be rescheduled for Monday at 3:00 p.m. from Kea`au High School.

The other game that was postponed was a night game between Waiakea and Kamehameha-Hawai`i from Wong Stadium. Both teams will try to get their game in at 6:00 p.m. Monday from the stadium. It will be heard on ESPN Radio and ESPNHawaii.com.
