A class on finance and accounting for non-financial people will be offered March 14 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at UH Hilo.

Offered through the University’s College of Continuing Education and Community Service professional development program, the class will be held at UH-Hilo, Campus Center, Room 306.

Taught by Fred Pryor Seminars, the class is designed to meet the needs of non-financial people to help them understand accounting terminology, effectively use budgets, balance sheets and/or other financial data tools.

The class is intended for those who deal with financial professionals within their organization; people who have to prepare/monitor/approve budgets and/or financial reports; or require knowledge of accounting in order to move ahead in their career.

Class fee is $125 and includes workshop materials. A parking fee of $3 may also apply. CEUs are granted upon completion of workshop.
