Gorgeous white sands and azure coastlines of Kohala will be this year’s backdrop for the Waimea Film Fest from January 3 to January 11.

Tickets and week-long passes are available now online.

This multi-venue event takes place at various locales in Kamuela such as the Parker Theatre, Kahilu Theatre, HPA, and the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.

There will be talks over breakfast, question and answer periods, receptions, exhibits, education and delicious food.

Event passes vary in price from the very affordable six-punch student pass priced at $35 to the kama’aina early purchase pass priced at $65 for six films. The Waimea film pass costs $125 for kama’aina and is a pre-sale deal. Otherwise expect to pay $165.

The closing ceremony and fine dining experience are $85 each, and the contributor’s pass is $1,250.

The Waimea Film Fest begins in Kohala at varied locations from January 3 to January 6, and finishes at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai from January 8 to January 11.

The Taste of the Island is on January 6, from 5 p.m., and takes place at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. This dining experience helps to host the filmmakers and special guests of this event.
