Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce to Host Banquet, Expo
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce (KKCC) will install its new officers and directors for 2012-2013 on Friday, June 29 at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at a luncheon banquet.
The Chamber’s annual Business Expo will precede and follow the banquet running from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Political reporter and retired professor Dan Boylan serves as guest speaker of the 11:30 a.m. luncheon. Boylan writes a political column for Oahu’s MidWeek and moderates PBS Hawaii’s Insights program. He recently retired from teaching history at the University of Hawaii—West Oahu campus.
The annual event also shares what the Chamber has accomplished during the past fiscal year and what it is eyeing for the future. During the luncheon winners of KKCC’s Pualu Awards will be announced honoring outstanding individuals, businesses, and non-profits for dedication and hard work in the West Hawaii community.
Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about other local businesses at the Business Expo.
