The Kahilu Theatre presents a classic film series featuring award-winning actress Audrey Hepbur beginning Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. Hepburn is at her Oscar-winning best as she delves into diverse characters and see why she is still considered to be one of the most enchanting icons of the silver screen.
Roman Holiday (1953) – Sept. 11:
Hepburn stars as a royal princess eager to explore Rome on her own without being shackled by the duties of a state official. After crossing paths with an American reporter, played by Gregory Peck, these two unlikely characters form a friendship through their inadvertent adventures while attempting to hide their identities from one another.
Sabrina (1954) – Sept. 18:

Directed, written, and produced by Billy Wilder this Academy Award-winning comedy tells the tale of two brothers, played by Humphrey Bogart and William Holden, vying for the attention of the same young lady, played by Hepburn, who happens to be the daughter of their family’s chauffeur.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961) – Sept. 25:
Often described as Hepburn’s most iconic and memorable roles, this two-time Academy Award-winning film has been selected for preservation in the National Film Registry. Hepburn stars alongside George Peppard in this classic romantic comedy as she portrays that daring darling Holly Golightly.

The Unforgiven (1960) – Oct. 2:
Legendary director John Huston directs Hepburn and Burt Lancaster in this powerful and exciting tale of forbidden love set against America’s most rugged and ruthless frontier.
