The themes of the peace exhibits are Victory Over Violence (VOV) and Transforming the Human Spirit. Created in 1999 by youthful members of the SGI-USA, VOV is a movement to help inspire young people throughout the world to identify and root out violence in their daily lives and their communities, and as a way to support the United Nations “Culture of Peace” initiative.

The goal of the VOV program is to contribute to a culture of peace through dialogue and action, while encouraging respect, trust and friendship among people regardless of race, religion and culture.

The center is located at 101 Pauahi St., Ste. 5.
