Mauna Lani Resort has announced Rodney Ito as its new managing director. The hospitality veteran will oversee operations for the 341-room Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows, Mauna Lani Spa and Sports & Fitness Club, in addition to the Francis H. I’i Brown Courses and other assets.

“Mauna Lani is proud to have Rodney lead our resort team,” said Patrick Fitzgerald, partner at DiamondHead Land who recently purchased Mauna Lani Resort. “Rodney values the preservation of Mauna Lani’s cultural and environmental traditions.”

Ito brings decades of senior management leadership experience in the hospitality industry to his new position. He has been the general manager of the hotel, spa and sports & fitness club at Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows since 2014.
