Light to moderate trade winds are forecast for the next few days with showers favoring our usual windward and mauka spots. Some afternoon clouds and showers are forecast for leeward and interior areas as well. Winds are forecast to weaken and turn out of the southeast for the Labor Day weekend as a front approaches. UV index at 12 (“extreme” exposure level)

East winds are forecast up to 15 mph. Mostly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers. Partly cloudy skies are forecast for leeward areas with isolated showers. Low temperatures from 72° to 77°.
