Looking Ahead
Trade winds are expected the next couple of days with passing clouds and showers for our usual windward and mauka showers. A weak disturbance is approaching the state this weekend and early next week winds could drop off and showers increase.

We expect east winds around 10 to 20 mph with variable winds to 15 mph in Kona and Kau. High temperatures are forecast from 81° to 86°. Partly cloudy skies with scattered windward showers today. Isolated afternoon showers for the Kona side, mainly upslope. Hazy skies as well.
