Our weather pattern is again expected to change as a front approaches and passes through the state. Clouds and showers are expected along the front reaching Kauai this afternoon and quickly pushing down the islands tonight and Sunday. Behind the front, cool and breezy north to northeast winds will fill in. Windy conditions are forecast for Sunday with breezy trade wind weather through next week.
Today
We have variable winds today around 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures are forecast from 78° to 83°. Partly sunny skies are expected with isolated showers in the morning and scattered showers in the afternoon. There will be areas of haze. On Sunday, mostly cloudy skies are forecast with windy conditions. Occasional showers for windward spots with scattered afternoon showers in leeward areas. Winds will becoming northeasterly from 15 to 30 mph and gusting up to 45 mph.

Variable winds are forecast up to 15 mph and becoming north from 10 to 20 mph. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with scattered windward showers and isolated leeward showers. Low temperatures from 66° to 71°. On Sunday night, winds will be gusting up to 45 mph out of the northeast.
