Convoys Scheduled to Begin Monday

A convoy of Oahu-based service members will travel from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor beginning Monday, May 25 and lasting through Wednesday, May 27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

During the convoy, service members will travel along the Daniel K. Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, and Akoni Pule Corridor. Convoys will be escorted by military police.

Those planning to travel along the aforementioned roads during scheduled times are urged to remain alert and to drive with caution.

Local authorities, military units, and the PTA Department of Army police have worked together to coordinate the convoys in support of unit training.
