Woman Charged in Downtown Hilo Store Robbery

Police have charged a woman accused of robbing a Hilo store at gunpoint Thursday with first-degree robbery and other crimes.
Tia Nohealani Menino, 23, was also charged with terroristic threatening, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, three counts of theft and three other firearms violations.
Bail for Menino was set at $28,750. She was being held at the Hilo cellblock pending her initial court appearance.
