Big Island police renew request for help with finding 6 runaways

Big Island police are once again asking the public for its assistance with finding four boys and two girls reported as runaways.

The missing teenagers are:

  • 15-year-old King Kehoe, who was last seen July 26, 2023, in the Kalapana Gardens area. He is 5-foot-4, 125 pounds, with a slim build, light brown shaggy hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Puna and Kona areas.
  • 17-year-old Alfred Andon, who was last seen Dec. 9, 2023, on Kino‘ole Street in Hilo. He is 5-foot-7, 120 pounds, with a light brown complexion, thin build, black hair and brown eyes. Alfred is known to frequent the Hilo, Puna and Kona areas.
  • 17-year-old Tristen Denis-Silva, who was last seen Dec. 13, 2023, in the Mountain View area. He is 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He also has an oval-shaped birthmark on his right neck area. Tristen is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas.
  • 15-year-old Chael Aku, who was last seen March 6 on Pauahi Street in Hilo. He is 5-foot-2, 110 pounds, with black curly hair and light green eyes.
  • 17-year-old Aulani Alfapada, who was last seen Feb. 26 on North Peck Road in Puna. She is 5-foot-2, 112 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. She is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna areas.
  • 17-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo, who was last seen March 14 on Kino‘ole Street in Hilo. She is 5-foot-2, with brown eyes and hair dyed red. She is known to frequent the downtown Hilo area.

Anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of any of the missing teens is asked to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Corey Kaneko at 808-961-8843 or via email at corey.kaneko@hawaiicounty.gov.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300.
