HFS Federal Credit Union announced Monday morning that North Hawai’i Community FCU has been officially merged with HFS.

The acquisition of North Hawai’i Community FCU in Honoka’a marks the seventh HFS location on the Big Island.

HFS officials first announced the formal merger to its members in October.

NHC FCU members can now use the services at all branches of HFS, while current HFS members are invited to use the Honoka’a location.

“We are delighted to be able to serve the community of Honoka’a and would like to extend our warmest aloha,” a statement from the company read.
