US Rep. Gabbard to Hold Community Meetings Saturday

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard will be holding two community meetings Saturday on the Big Island.

The meetings are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kealakehe High School Cafeteria in Kailua-Kona and from 5-6:30 p.m. at the ILWU at 100 W. Lanikaula Street in Hilo.

Gabbard was sworn in as a member of the US House of Representatives on Jan. 3. She has been assigned to be a member of the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

She represents the 2nd Congressional District, which is comprised of the neighbor islands and areas of Oahu outside of the Honolulu urban core.
