Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce Holding Gift Drive Dec. 12

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce will hold a holiday gift drive as part of its monthly After Hours networking event on December 12.

KKCC’s After Hours will take place at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The Chamber’s After Hours mixers are monthly events hosted by businesses around west Hawaii to focus on networking, enjoying great food, and meeting other members of the business community.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy or gift item in exchange for the $10 entry fee.

However, money will also be accepted and all funds collected that evening will be used to purchase additional toys and needed items.

Recipients of KKCC’s 2012 gift drive include Family Support Hawaii and Friends of the Children’s Justice Center.

Since the event is limited to 125 participants, reservations are required by Monday, December 10. Last month’s KKCC After Hours event at the Lava Lava Club in Waikoloa was sold out.

Cost for KKCC members or first-time guests is $10, non-members $25.
