Dump Truck Loaded With Gravel Tips Over

A Hawaii Fire Department spokesman said no one was injured when a dump truck loaded with gravel tipped over on Leilani Street Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters responding to the scene between the Hilo landfill and Jas W. Glover Ltd. at 1:22 p.m. found the dump truck laying on its passenger side.
The driver was able to exit the vehicle without injuries.
An unknown amount of diesel and oil spilled off the roadway, the spokesman said. The fire department’s hazmat team responded to the scene.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
