Police seek assistance in identifying Kalapana burglary suspects

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects involved in a burglary investigation that occurred on July 9 in the Kalapana-Kaimū area.  

Items Stolen from Waianuenue Ave. Establishment

The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the items, which were stolen sometime between Wednesday and Friday morning.

Police Investigate Honoka’a Pool Theft

Thieves took $4,500 worth of items from the public swimming pool, including an AED machine that is valued at $3,000.

Suspects Sought in Tourist Robbery

Two suspects are being sought after by police following a Wednesday robbery of a tourist walking in the area of Waikoloa Beach Drive.

Police Seek Information in Sunrise Ridge Burglary

Approximately $22,500 worth of items were stolen from a Sunrise Ridge home in February during a burglary.

Police are seeking the owners of items including car stereos and solar panels that were recovered from burglary suspects in Ka‘u.
