The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo’s College of Continuing Education and Community Service is offering a workshop on genetic testing.

Workshop participants will learn the basics of genetics, what genetic testing is, and the information they can expect to get from the variety of tests that are available.

Workshop instructor Olga Sideleva earned her doctorate in genetics from St. Petersburg University in Russia, and has over 20 years of experience in biological research.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays starting Nov. 7 through 28, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at UH Hilo’s University Classroom Building Room 101.

The cost for the workshop is $45.
