Bail Set at $163,000 in Stolen Credit Card Case

A Kona man has been charged with 28 offenses in connection with his alleged use of a stolen credit card.

The credit card reported stolen last May by a 55-year-old Kailua-Kona woman was used on several occasions at various retail locations in Kona.

Police on Monday arrested Jonathan K. Donner of Kailua-Kona in connection with the case.

Donner, 32, was charged with seven counts each of fraudulent use of a credit and identity theft, four counts of forgery and nine counts of theft.

He was also charged with criminal contempt of court in an unrelated case.

Donner’s bail was set at $163,000. He was being held at the Kona cellblock pending his initial court appearance.
