Job Center Sponsors Workshop & Fair

Are you looking for a job? Job seekers are invited to attend a Job Readiness Workshop and Job Fair sponsored by the American Job Center Hawai‘i.

The Job Readiness Workshop assists participants with preparing for the Job Fair by offering guidance on resume writing, interviewing skills, properly completing an application and instruction on dressing for success. The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m. to  2 pm at Aunty Sally’s Luau Hale located at 799 Pi’ilani St. in Hilo. Participants are urged to bring a jump drive to save their resumes on.

The 5^th Annual Job Fair will include businesses from around the island seeking employees to fill vacancies.  Participants should come prepared with resumes and dress professionally as interviews may be done on site.  The Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Edith Kanaka’ole Multi-Purpose Stadium located at 350 Kalanikoa Street in Hilo.

Both events are free and open to the public.
