Island Air announced today that for the month of July 2017, 93.2% of its flights arrived on time* and it completed 98% of its 2,068 scheduled flights.**

Island Air publicly discloses its operational performance so that current and potential customers can see how the airline is performing as it continues to expand its service and provide Hawai‘i residents and visitors with an alternative option for interisland air travel.

* With major airlines that report their on-time information to the U.S. Department of Transportation, a flight is counted as “on time” if it arrives within 14 minutes of its scheduled arrival time.

** Island Air operational performance numbers reflect system wide operations, based on all of the flights that are operated under its brand, using Official Airline Guide (OAG) published arrival times and Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) data. Island Air’s performance data is not reflected in the U.S. Department of Transportation monthly Air Travel Consumer Report, which currently tracks the performance and punctuality of 13 of the nation’s largest airlines that are required to submit data.
