The West Hawai‘i Small Business Development Center will present the “Introduction to Bookkeeping for Business Owners,” workshop on Jan. 11

It can be hard to keep up with bookkeeping skills when running any business.

This course will discuss key bookkeeping principals, terminology and will provide an overview of the different types of financial statements available for entrepreneurs to make good business decisions.

Whether using an outside bookkeeper or doing it on your own, this is the kind of understanding small business owners need.

Ms. Ann Chiodini will be presenting the workshop. Ms. Chiodini has an MBA in Accounting and has worked as a CPA in the state of Rhode Island for 32 years. She is also a Certified Management Accountant and specializes in accounting and financial analysis for a variety of businesses.

The workshop will be held on Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Kailua-Kona in the Hale Iako Building at Natural Energy Laboratory of Hawai‘i Authority.

Registration is $20 and space is limited.
