A buffet-style, oceanfront Luau with all the traditional favorites will be hosted by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District.
The event will be KVBID’s second annual event and will be held at Kona Inn’s oceanfront lawn on Oct. 3 at 6 p.m.
“Last year’s luau was a big hit with local residents and visitors alike,” said KVBID President Riley Smith. “Our aim is to keep the price within reach and to celebrate a special evening by the sea. Too often, we become wrapped up in daily responsibilities and we don’t take the time to enjoy where we live. Our Historic Kailua Village Luau gives people an opportunity to hit the pause button and have a good time.”
Kumu Keala Ching will provide entertainment, along with Ka Pa Hula Na Wai Iwi Ola and Kealaleo.

Tickets, which are $45 each or $400 for a table of 10, can be purchased at the Historic Kailua Village website.
