Family-owned and operated HouseMart, the parent company of Ben Franklin Craft stores in Hawai’i, will begin its Summer Keiki Craft Classes on Monday, June 15 and last through Friday, June 19 at all of its store statewide, including its sole Big Island location in Hilo.

Children between the ages of eight and 11 will participate during the first session each day from 10 a.m. to noon, and children 11 and older will participate during the second session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Projects on the schedule include:

Monday, June 15: Origami Crown, Mixed Media Canvas

Tuesday, June 16: Polymer Clay Robot, Lighthouse

Wednesday, June 17: Faux Batik with Cray-Pas, Petite Piñata

Thursday, June 18: Zentangle Collage, Shell Wind Chime

Friday, June 19: Pony Bead Gecko, Watercolor Painting & Techniques

Cost for the week of classes costs $60. Those who are only interested in attending on specific days can pay $20 per day.

Seats are limited and early registration is advised.
