The Hawai‘i County Police Department has received funding to purchase approximately 300 body cameras for the department’s patrol officers.

Two men in a U-Haul van have reportedly been going door to door in Puna selling “cheaply made equipment,” including generators and pressures washers, claiming that the items will be repaired by a rental company in Kea’au.
