Hawai’i Energy can award a total of $592,000 in rebates for eligible installation projects of electric vehicle charging stations completed between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.

The goal of the new pilot program is to help establish up to 30 new electric vehicle charging sites on Maui, O‘ahu and the Big Island.

Hawai‘i will receive $2,616,956 in new funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations, part of nearly $18 million in estimated formula funding coming to the state over the next five years for EV charging.
