Former Maui Police Officer Sentenced to Prison for Soliciting Sex in Exchange for Perjured Testimony

A former Maui Police officer was sentenced to 30 months in prison Wednesday, Nov. 3, after pleading guilty to soliciting a sexual relationship in exchange for a perjured testimony.

Former MPD Officer Pleads Guilty to Fraud

Saffeels faces a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of not more than $250,000 as to each of the seven counts when he is sentenced.
