Update: Wind advisory issued for Big Island is canceled

According to the National Weather Service in Honolulu, northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph will sweep across the interior of Hawai‘i Island with localized gusts of 50 mph.

East winds of 20 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, are forecast in the advisory areas.
