Oahu-based rockabilly/punk veterans the Hell Caminos make a trip to the Big Island to support their upcoming album "Wounds". Their first album "Through the Day and Through the Night" was released in 2006, showcasing their creepy, groovy rockabilly sounds. They've been playing throughout the Hawaiian Islands and beyond ever since. This is their first show on the Big Island in over a decade.
Big Island punk band El Sancho returns to Willie's Hot Chicken to celebrate guitarist Greg Toliver's 50th birthday. They just released the first single from their new album "Heads Up!" which is coming out on vinyl and digital formats in July. El Sancho gets compared to bands like Descendents, Screeching Weasel, Ramones and other 3-chord pop punk legends.
Kauz of Affliction, or K.O.A., has been performing on the Big Island since 2006 and blends many genres in their unique, high-energy sound. The two-piece husband and wife duo is releasing their 5th album "Unhinged" early next month.
Kyle Strngz plays alternative hip-hop with an island vibe. This is his first Willie's Hot Chicken performance, but he's no stranger to Big Island stages; you can often find him playing guitar with Hilo legends Sudden Rush, fronting Trouble in Paradise, rapping in the BarZlive challenge, or sitting in with the Average Joes.
This rare four-band show at Willie's Hot Chicken starts at 6pm, is free, and all ages are welcome.
