4,700 New Cases Reported Monday
The state Department of Health reported 4,700 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 174,586. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 254 new infections were identified Monday on the Big Island. On Sunday, the Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense reported that the Big Island had 4,449 active cases as of Sunday, with 42 people hospitalized.

- O‘ahu: 124,141
- Hawaiʻi: 18,415
- Maui: 19,989
- Kaua‘i: 6,694
- Moloka‘i: 681
- Lana‘i: 339
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 4,327
A total of 5,434 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,126 have died.
