2 New COVID Cases Reported on Big Island
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 27 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 87,210. One new COVID-related fatality was also reported.
A total of two new infections were identified on the Big Island Friday.
The state’s seven-day average is now 75 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

O‘ahu: 59,337
Hawai‘i: 11,655
Maui: 9,917
Kaua‘i: 3,034
Moloka‘i: 246
Lana‘i: 145
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,876
A total of 5,015 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,015 have died.
