A large northwest swell will build through Monday morning. A ridge north of the islands will remain nearly stationary through tonight. A new high will build northwest of the area through Wednesday. A ridge will shift southeast of the islands Wednesday night as a front approaches from the northwest. The front will reach Kauai Thursday night and move southeast of the Big Island by Sunday morning.
